I found this yarn at Rhinebeck (New York Sheep and Wool Festival) in 2017 and knew they needed to be a shawl all together of various textures.

For a while I thought I would have to come up with the pattern on my own. I scoured Ravelry for a three color multi pattern/textured shawl but nothing struck my fancy. Then Andrea Mowry released the Baubles pattern and I knew it had to be the pattern for my Fall Shawl!

Once I started knitting it realized that it was a bit more tedious than I usually enjoy knitting. I was committed to the pattern though, so I continued to follow the pattern.

I’m so glad I kept with it! It is exactly how I wanted this yarn to marry into a beautiful garment.

I blocked it pretty aggressively so that it would be large.

I knit the pattern with only 3 skeins instead of four (pattern calls for 2 of the Main Color). This was a pretty easy mod, just didn’t knit the main color throughout the whole shawl, CC1 and CC@ are knit together sometimes.
